The water is safe to drink in the four buildings on Main Campus affected by a water main break on Wednesday.

As a precaution, the city of Toledo tested a sample of the water after the line had been repaired and the water had been turned back on. The water is safe to drink, and there is no boil water advisory.

The water main break along West Rocket Drive required the water to be turned off to Main Campus Medical Center, International House, Academic House and Sullivan Hall for about four hours on Wednesday while it was repaired. There was no flooding or water damage to the buildings.
