The University of Toledo has canceled classes for Friday, Feb. 9, due to the severe winter weather.

Classes that begin at 2 p.m. or later are canceled due to the current Level 2 snow emergency in Lucas County and forecasts for additional snow.

Despite canceled classes, the University will remain open. At this time, employees should complete their shifts or report for normal work hours. Administrators will continue to monitor the weather and will alert campus should work schedules need to change.

The University of Toledo Medical Center, as always, will remain open.
