The University of Toledo will host an alcohol safety event Wednesday, April 9, to reinforce personal responsibility and healthy lifestyles.
The National Alcohol Screening Day event will feature screenings and educational sessions with free food and raffle prizes from noon to 4 p.m. in the Student Recreation Center.
Representatives from UT Medical Center, Lucas County Traffic Safety Program and Life Connection of Ohio will be on hand to provide educational information about alcohol and drugs, seat-belt use and impaired driving, organ and tissue donation, and more.
Participants also can take part in free, confidential alcohol screening and HIV testing provided by the Ryan White Program at UT Medical Center.
