UT President Lloyd Jacobs recently announced additional organizational changes to Human Resources that will finalize the senior leadership at the University.

Connie Rubin and Kevin West will oversee the Human Resources Department as senior human resources officers and will report to Chuck Lehnert, vice president for administration.

“This is an opportunity to streamline administration thanks to the strong performance of these individuals,” Jacobs said. “I’m confident this team not only will meet the needs of our faculty and staff, but exceed them.”

The recent retirement of Bill Logie, who served as vice president for human resources and campus safety, created the opportunity to reorganize the department.

Rubin, who previously held the title of associate vice president of human resources, will be responsible for human resources functions for the clinical enterprise and HR operations. West, who previously was director of Main Campus labor relations and institutional diversity, will oversee human resources functions for the academic enterprise, recruitment and retention.

The Human Resources leadership changes follow senior leadership reorganization announced in May.
