College of Business Administration Career Fair to take place Sept. 25
By Bob Mackowiak : September 24th, 2009Seventy companies will participate in a business career fair for students and alumni of The University of Toledo College of Business Administration Friday, Sept. 25, from 1 to 4 p.m. in the Student Union on Main Campus.
“Forward-thinking companies are always searching for talented people, even during tough economic times such as now,” said Dr. Terribeth Gordon-Moore, associate dean in the College of Business Administration. “Employers come to UT knowing they will find dynamic individuals with high-quality business degrees.”
Businesses will be looking for students to participate in internship programs as well as for seniors and graduates seeking full-time employment.
Among the companies planning to participate are Owens Corning, Owens-Illinois Inc., Marathon Oil Co., Savage & Associates, Ernst & Young, Sherwin Williams Co., J.M. Smucker Co., Therma-Tru Doors and Schindler Elevator Corp.
“This semiannual career fair is part of what we do to prepare our students for their futures,” Gordon-Moore noted. “We strive to provide the necessary resources so our students can conduct their own tailored job searches.”
