The University of Toledo men’s and women’s basketball programs will preview their upcoming 2009-10 campaigns Thursday, Oct. 15, from 5 to 7:30 p.m. at the Ohio Building, located at the corner of Madison Avenue and Superior Street in downtown Toledo.

Cross and Cullop

Rocket fans will have a chance to spend a couple hours with Men’s Head Coach Gene Cross and Women’s Head Coach Tricia Cullop, as well as the coaching staffs for each program.

A silent auction will be held at the event; some of the items up for bid will include an autographed basketball, a team sweat suit, as well as an opportunity to travel with the men’s team for their game at Cincinnati Wednesday, Nov. 18. All proceeds from the evening will be used for program enhancements for the UT men’s and women’s basketball programs.

“This is a great opportunity for our supporters to interact with myself and Tricia and gain some insight on our upcoming seasons,” Cross said. “It’s also a way for us to raise some money to enhance our programs. I’m really happy to be holding this event in conjunction with Tricia because of the tremendous family atmosphere within the Athletic Department.”

The cost for the event is $50 per person and $75 per couple. Hors d’oeuvres will be served.
