Have you considered going to medical school? The University of Toledo is hoping to help students thinking about a career in medicine through a series of presentations.
The presentations are open to select UT undergraduate programs: the BS/MD, Baccalaureate/MD, Engineering/MD, and Honors.
There will be five 60- to 90-minute sessions composed of three parts: a didactic presentation, an interview with a physician, and a question-and-answer section.
The first session will take place Monday, Oct. 20, from 5 to 7 p.m. in Rocket Hall Room 1558. Topics to be covered will be:
• Impressing the admissions committee: Is it Possible?
• Shadowing: Who knows what evil lurks in the hearts of men?
• What it is to be a physician?

On top of these sessions, one-on-one mentoring will be offered with volunteer medical school faculty or students facilitated by an admissions dean.
Students who wish to attend any of these sessions must bring their IDs.
These sessions are hosted by the Admissions Office of the College of Medicine and Life Sciences in conjunction with the College of Engineering and the Jesup Scott Honors College.
