Auditions for Play Slated |

The theatre and film department will hold auditions Monday and Tuesday, Sept. 8 and 9, for its fall production of “The Little Clay Cart.”
Auditions will take place from 7 to 10 p.m. in the Center for Performing Arts Center Theatre. Roles for men and women will be cast for the production, which will be performed in December. Musicians and singers also are needed, according to Suman Mukherjee, visiting assistant professor of theatre, who will direct the play.
Those auditioning should be familiar with the A.L. Basham’s English translation of “The Little Clay Cart.” Perusal scripts for the play are available for review from the theatre and film department, located in the Center for Performing Arts Room 1034.
Callbacks will take place Thursday, Sept. 10.
