Informational and fun activities will mark UT’s first Student Appreciation Week, April 21-25. Sponsored by the Office of the Vice President for Student Affairs, scheduled activities will offer a little something for all students as a way to let them know that they are appreciated.
In addition to the Office of the Vice President for Student Affairs, services or activities in conjunction with AVI Food Services, the Catharine S. Eberly Center for Women, the UT Candy Counter, UT Wendy’s location, Parking Services, the UT Medical Center and The University of Toledo Bookstores are scheduled, including:
Monday, April 21 “Rockets at Home Visit” — Dr. Tyrone Bledsoe, vice president for student affairs, several deans from UT colleges, and faculty and staff are scheduled to visit residence halls from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. to meet and greet students and pass out coupons and other items of appreciation.
Tuesday, April 22: “Rockets Rejuvenation” — a brown-bag luncheon that focuses on managing stress, time and life. Student Union Room 2582, noon.
“Rockets after Hours” — Chips and pop for commuter and graduate students. Student Union South Lounge, 5 to 7 p.m.
Wednesday, April 23: “Rocket Road Ice Cream Social” — Enjoy Career Center trivia and a cool treat. Student Union South Lounge, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Thursday, April 24: “Rockets Tune-up Time” — stop by the student health fair and pick up information. Student Union Ingman Room and the Student Union South Lounge, 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
“UT Rockets: Then and Now” — a presentation featuring snapshots of past and present UT students. Multicultural Student Center, 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
