As Independence Day nears, it's time to sit down, roll up your sleeves and show 'em which color does run — through your veins, that is. It's the annual All-American Blood Drive at The University of Toledo.
The American Red Cross blood drive will be held Monday, June 26, at the Driscoll Alumni Center from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. Everyone who donates will receive an All-American Blood Drive T-shirt and a slice of apple pie. Appointments are not required; walks-ins are welcome.
In order to donate, you must be at least 17 years old, weigh between 110 and 350 pounds, and be in good health. You should bring a photo ID and a list of all current medications. For questions about eligibility, e-mail WLEDonorQuestions@usa.redcross.org.
For more information or to schedule an appointment, call 1.800.GIVE.LIFE or 419.539.1009.
