Arboretum to Host Leaf Collection Events
    By Rebecca Maggard
    Sep 4, 2003

The University of Toledo Stranahan Arboretum will be open for leaf collectors each Saturday in September from 1-4 p.m.

The Stranahan Arboretum is home to hundreds of varieties of trees within its 47 acres, with signage identifying many trees.  Arboretum maps will be available to advise visitors as to the locations of various species of trees, vines and shrubs.

The arboretum is located at 4131 Tantara Drive, near the corner of Whiteford Road and Sylvania Avenue.

For more information, contact Sandra Stutzenstein, program coordinator, at 419.841.1007 or sstutze@pop3.utoledo.edu.  Visit the arboretum Web site at www.arboretum.utoledo.edu.
