Arts, humanities to be discussed at UT roundtable
    By Shannon Coon
    Mar 21, 2005

The role of the arts and humanities in the metropolitan university will be the topic of a roundtable discussion Wednesday, March 23, from noon to 2 p.m. in UT’s Student Union Room 2591.

The talk is a follow-up on the lecture by Chancellor Sylvia Manning of the University of Illinois in Chicago and the roundtable discussion that took place on campus March 2.

The second roundtable will have a mediator but no panelists.

Coffee, tea and soda will be provided. Attendees are welcome to bring their own lunch.

For more information on the free, public event, contact Barbara Van Vleet, UT Arts and Sciences college relations coordinator, at 419.530.7805 or barbara.vanvleet@utoledo.edu.
