    By Vicki L. Kroll
    Oct 28, 2003

Dr. Jiquan Chen, UT professor of ecology, will give a talk, “Culture, People and the Nature of the People’s Republic of China and South Korea,” on Thursday, Oct. 30, from noon to 1 p.m. in Student Union Room 2582.

Chen’s visit was prompted by an invitation from the Korean Forest Service and several academic institutions in the People’s Republic of China. He will share photos and observations of the two Asian countries.

Others who will share their views during the forum will be Dr. David “Jim” Nemeth, UT professor of geography; Dr. Edward Suh, UT associate professor of social work; and Dr. An Chung Cheng, UT assistant professor of Spanish.

RSVPs are requested to Dr. Gene Chang, director of the Asian Studies Institute: gene.chang@utoledo.edu.
