    Associate professor to host ‘Northwest Ohio Journal’

    Dr. Barbara Kopp Miller, UT associate professor of occupational therapy and physician assistant studies and administrative director of the Center for Successful Aging, will host WBGU-PBS’ weekly public affairs, call-in program, “Northwest Ohio Journal,” at 8 p.m. for the next three weeks starting Thursday, April 10.

    The show for Thursday, April 10, will focus on families and individuals that are living with cancer.

    Cancer survivor Deb Boyce, WBGU-PBS director of promotions and public relations, and Dr. David Brown, an oncologist practicing in Bowling Green, will discuss challenges that have to be faced when living with cancer.

    Kopp Miller will host shows on mental health issues April 17 and asthma April 24.

    Viewers are encouraged to call in during this live program and join in on the online discussion.

    In Toledo, Buckeye Cablesystem carries WBGU-TV on channel 57.
