Author Susan Coll will be on UT’s Main Campus Tuesday, March 25, to discuss her book,
Acceptance: A Novel.
Her visit is sponsored by UT’s Higher Education Program and the John H. Russel Center for Educational Leadership.
“Every year, we select a novel that represents a genre called academic literature to discuss in class,” explained Dr. David Meabon, associate professor and interim associate chair of educational foundations and leadership. “The setting is usually on a college campus, among the faculty or student populations, or the plot centers around a college campus.”
Students in Meabon’s class, The American College Student, will have lunch with Coll before her free, public program, which is scheduled from 2 to 3:30 p.m. in Student Union Room 3018.
