The University of Toledo has dozens of important initiatives in the works, such as economic development in the Science and Technology Corridor and finding a solution to Toledo’s graduate medical education crisis.
During the last year, UT has also achieved many significant accomplishments. Grants for solar energy-related projects continue to pour in, enrollment continues to swell, and the UT Medical Center set patient volume and quality records, just to name a few.
However, of all the topics he could have chosen, during his annual address to the University community on Wednesday, April 2, at 10 a.m. in Doermann Theater on Main Campus, President Lloyd Jacobs will talk about the opportunities created through undergraduate education.
In his talk, “Re-Engineering the Undergraduate Academic Experience,” Jacobs will share his thoughts on why higher education is the clearest path to a great future, and what colleges and universities can do to enhance the experience.
