UT Authors and Artists Exhibit to open April 1 |

The 2007-08 University of Toledo Authors and Artists Exhibit will open Tuesday, April 1, at 5 p.m. in the Ward M. Canaday Center for Special Collections on the fifth floor of Carlson Library on Main Campus with a reception for exhibiting faculty hosted by President Lloyd Jacobs.

| Dr. Tom Barden, director of the UT Honors Program and professor of English, contributed a chapter to John Steinbeck and His Contemporaries. |
Dr. Carter Wilson, UT professor of political science and public administration, will present opening remarks.
The exhibit features the works of some 200 UT faculty members, and includes scholarly research published during the past academic year as well as works produced by members of the UT Art Department. Books, articles, published conference papers and original artwork of faculty on the Main, Health Sciences and Toledo Museum of Art campuses are included in the exhibit.
The free, public exhibit can be seen Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. through May 2.
