Sue Ott Rowlands will continue as the interim dean of the College of Arts and Sciences for the 2006-07 and 2007-08 academic years.
“We want to congratulate and thank Sue Ott Rowlands for her exemplary service as interim dean during the past academic year,” said Dr. Alan Goodridge, provost and executive vice president for academic affairs and enrollment services. “She has shown extraordinary leadership of the college during the past year. We are happy that she will continue to serve for an additional two years.”
“I am delighted and honored to continue to serve as interim dean,” said Ott Rowlands, professor of theatre. “I look forward to continuing to work with the students, faculty and staff of the college and the University.”
Ott Rowlands began the position July 1, 2005. She formerly served as chair of the UT theatre and film department, which she joined in 2002.
