Be a FROG and Help Out
    By Deanna Lytle
    Aug 13, 2003

Hop to it and help incoming residence hall students by becoming a FROG — a First-year Resident Orientation Guide.

FROGs work during residence hall move-in days on Aug. 20, 21 and 22. FROG duties include greeting students, helping to unload their cars, assisting them move into the residence halls and answering questions. FROGs can choose whichever tasks they want to do. Any University of Toledo student, faculty member or staff member is eligible to become a FROG. “We’d love to see more faculty get involved,” said Tamara Clark, assistant director for residential education.

FROGs can choose from hour-long shifts to work during the day from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. For their service, all participants will receive a free T-shirt. FROG applications can be submitted up until the move-in days.

For more information and for registration forms, contact the Office of Residence Life at 419.530.4640 or Clark at tamara.clark@utoledo.edu.
