UT’s chapter of Tau Sigma National Honor Society recently inducted 48 new members.
Tau Sigma National Honor Society recognizes academic excellence and involvement of transfer students.
“Tau Sigma is an organization that recognizes students for their stellar academic performance while encouraging them to take an active role in student life at UT,” said Claire Edmondson, chapter faculty adviser for Tau Sigma and assistant director of undergraduate admission. “UT’s Tau Sigma chapter is looking forward to a productive year through volunteer work with the Office of Admission and social gatherings,”
To be inducted into Tau Sigma, students must have received a 3.5 GPA through their first semester and complete 24 credit hours at the University.
