Dear UT community,

I am pleased to share with you that The University of Toledo successfully appealed the withdrawal of accreditation for our Physician Assistant Studies Program by the Accreditation Review Commission on Education for Physician Assistants (ARC-PA). Accreditation for the PA Program will be reinstated, effective immediately. This is good news, particularly for our students, whose success is our top priority.

Our accreditation status is Accreditation-Probation and during this probation period we will continue the ongoing efforts to enhance the quality of the PA program so that it not only aligns with the standards of ARC-PA, but that it also is on par with the high standards of the well-respected and valued programs at UT and in the College of Medicine and Life Sciences.

The accreditation process has always served as an opportunity for us to improve on our processes and programs. We will continue to strive to provide the highest quality educational experience for our PA students with unwavering commitment.
