Norfolk Southern Railway is scheduled to begin work Tuesday, June 12, on the railroad crossing behind the Transportation Center on UT’s Main Campus.
That means the service road connected to the bus loop will be closed, as will the University Parks Trail.
Vehicle, bike and pedestrian traffic should avoid the area and use other crossings on campus, according to Doug Collins, director of grounds and transportation.
The project is expected to be done in one week, weather permitting.
